Angela Ortiz Pettas

Angela is an entrepreneur, consultant and author of social impact. She began her career in early childhood education, transitioning into social impact following the Great Earthquake and Fukushima nuclear disaster in 2011. She established a community building nonprofit, Place To Grow, and published a book by the same title . In 2016 Angela moved into Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), leading the local Japan capability for global brands including Adidas and H&M, while also advising international schools and corporations on education and activation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Angela is a graduate of Circular Economies and Sustainability Strategies from the University of Cambridge, a self-proclaimed sustainability nerd and fitness enthusiast, and enjoys working at the intersection of marketing, psychology, physical and mental health.
