Angela Ortiz Pettas is a dynamic and authentic entrepreneur, author, and communications specialist. She began her career in early childhood education, and transitioned into social impact in 2011 & established a community building nonprofit, Place To Grow, in response to the triple disasters of 2011 in northeast Japan. Angela is recognized as a recovery support ambassador to the city of Minamisanriku cho, in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. In 2016 she moved into corporate social responsibility, business strategy and communications and has since helped various multinational corporations activate cross sector programs around sports, economic enhancement, community reconnection, education and more. She got her certification as a Knowledge Broker in 2020 to enhance her skills in digital marketing & storytelling. In 2021 Angela founded Stratechist Consulting, to advise international schools and corporations on education and activation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She is a graduate of Circular Economies and Sustainability Strategies, Cambridge Judge Business School, Executive Education, Cambridge University. Outside of the office, Angela is a self-proclaimed nerd and coffee lover who enjoys studying marketing, psychology and fitness.
